Subway Art Classroom Rules Posters

I heart subway art! I just love the bright pops of color plus the look is just too cool and contemporary. Take a look at these here on TPT.

Teachers, you might also like this free "I Teach" bookmark. It is sized to go perfectly in a 3-ring binder. It is free but you do have to login to TPT to download it. If you don't have an account there, signing up only takes a minute and it is free as well.

Free Book Report Printable

I came across this free really cute & simple book report template by B Nute Productions. It would be great for lower primary grades. It also could be a nice idea for a summer activity to keep the mind working. I like the idea of creating a sort of ongoing binder tracking their fave books over a period of time.

Additional Book Report Option...

This lapbook works with any novel!

Learning Spanish duoLingo Style!

This web site is fun, educational and FREE! It is called duolingo. You learn a language while helping to translate the world wide web. Sounds impossible? I thought so too until I tried it out. I know I sound like a cheesy infomercial here but I swear they aren't paying me to write this. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! (I couldn't resist.) This web site reminds me of Rosetta Stone but did I mention that it is free!? Check it out...

Try it and let me know what you think!

When I grow up I want to be...

Welcome to the first post of my new blog!

To get started, here is a link to a free classroom activity printable available in my TPT store.  It is intended for lower primary grades. "When I grow up I want to be..." involves writing an opinion piece and a bit of fun coloring.

This activity includes two boy and two girl character options. Each student should select one character that they feel the most comfortable with for a self-depiction.

Next, students select a "career clothes" outfit to glue on their character. The clothes are in black & white so that they can be colored by the students. (Sort of like paper dolls but it works for boys and girls.)

Students then write an explanation of why they chose that particular future career path.
