My name is Michelle. Since this blog is titled Teaching in the Sunshine you'd probably expect that I well... teach in the sunshine somewhere, right? Not exactly. Up until 2015 I did teach in the Sunshine State. The 2014-2015 school year was my 11th year teaching in sunny Tampa, FL.
However, life happens! In my case, my husband's work has us in some decidedly non-sunny weather. I made the move to about 45 minutes outside of Chicago, IL. Brrrrrrrrr!!!!!! While I most definitely hope to make it back down south eventually, for right now this is home.
I spend my days chasing after our 1 year old son. When he naps, I keep myself busy working on my TPT store. I'm known as SunnyDaze on there. You can see my affection for the sun in everything I name, yes? :)
